Project is created in partnership with the Royal Air Force capturing a diverse group of personnel from across the current NATO Mission in Lithuania. The main theme focuses on ‘What Makes Us Strong’ highlighting challenges, strengths and unity of people in our Militaries.
Since 2004 Lithuania is a committed member of the collective transatlantic defence organisation – North Atlantic Treaty Organization. This membership ensures stability and security in the region and provides an opportunity to be a hosting country for other allies’ deployments.
Currently, the NATO Mission in Lithuania includes an Air Force presence in Siauliai and an Army presence in Rukla. NATO's Baltic air policing deployment is an air defensive mission that guards the airspace over the three Baltic states. Meanwhile, NATO enhanced Forward Presence Battlegroup protects Lithuania’s territory by deterring any possible aggression, thus preventing conflict and preserving peace.
